Six Sigma training consolidates AM production
We are pleased to announce that a number of our team have recently completed their Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt training, further consolidating our position as a market leader of Additive Manufactured (AM) production parts to worldwide industry sectors.
As our metal and plastic AM journey continues to evolve from producing one-off prototypes to batch production and onwards to serial production, the infrastructure of the company has dramatically changed to meet the increased expectations of our valued customers.
The Lean Six Sigma toolkit is yet another piece of the puzzle to the company offering the ultimate “One-Stop-Shop” AM production solution. We can provide the complete metal AM process chain from start to finish, providing front-end services such as design for AM, R+D, training, NPI and powder management, through to AM production and a full finishing service. This enables us to improve our customer offering, have greater control over the key AM processes and reduce delivery lead-times.
Nigel Robinson, Operations Director, says “We have always believed that our continued success is driven by the skills and attitudes of the people we employ, and ongoing training and support is an integral part of the company ethos”.
Paloma Consulting has facilitated the training over the last few months.
