3D Printing making a difference
In collaboration with Materialise NV we are delighted that our 3D Printed concept Heat Exchanger is being featured in the MAKING A DIFFERENCE / A DIFFERENCE IN MAKING exhibition at the Bozar Center for Fine Arts in Brussels throughout May and June 2015.
Our Heat Exchanger offers a radical new approach to design which demonstrates that Additive Manufacturing (AM), or 3D Printing, can free designers from constraints imposed by traditional manufacturing technologies. Using design software to make it lighter and stronger, and built in one piece without any support structures, costs and lead-time were reduced dramatically when compared to other production methods.

Curated by Marta Malé-Alemany and produced by Materialise, the event provides a fascinating insight into 3D printing through examples of 3D printed works from science, design, engineering and the arts. “How does 3D printing make a difference?” is the concept behind this event.
