$100,000 prize in 3D printing competition
There’s an exciting new initiative in the Additive Manufacturing world. The UK technology charity, techfortrade, has announced the 3D4D Challenge – a competition inviting people to come up with groundbreaking ideas that exploit the developments in 3D printing to improve the incomes and livelihoods of people in developing countries.
The charity is funding a $100,000 prize fund to be used by the winners to implement their design for the benefit of those in developing countries.
The 3D4D Challenge’s mission is to relieve poverty by encouraging innovation. It’s a great initiative and we’ll be getting involved. Hope you will too.
