It is important to find out whether you have an account set up with us at an early stage, as this can save a considerable amount of time further down the line! For small orders you can pay using a credit card, but an account may be required for larger orders that would be in excess of a credit card limit. See “Paying for your order” below for further details on how to set up an account.
Sending your data for quotation The quickest and easiest way to send your data to us is via e-mail to post@3trpd.co.uk. This is a centralised Inbox, so your e-mail will be immediately seen by a member of our team. We have various CAD systems in use including SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer and Materialise Magics RP. We can read many different file types, the most common being .STL and .IGES. File compression types used include ZIP, MGX and RAR. It is important that your data files are compacted to allow them to be successfully e-mailed and quickly downloaded through our server. Files should be zipped before sending - various compression software packages are available. Alternatively, you can upload your files to our FTP site - please telephone us to obtain instructions to do this. Full details are available on our data interchange page.
We will not proceed with any build until order cover is received. Your Purchase Order can be e-mailed to post@3trpd.co.uk or faxed to 01635 569857.
If you hold an account with us, you will be invoiced once your parts have been dispatched. Our payment terms are 30 days. If you do not currently hold an account with us, you have 2 options:
When your order is dispatched you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the shipment details. We use a Guaranteed Next Day delivery service (before 12 noon), thereby allowing us to track and trace all packages. More urgent deliveries (next day by 9am or 10.30am) or same day via courier are available, however please contact us to discuss the arrangements, as an additional delivery charge will be levied.
In the unlikely event of there being a problem with your parts, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your parts to highlight the problem. You will be given a Returns Reference Number, and we will discuss appropriate remedial action to be taken. There are 2 options:
