| FUNCTIONAL prototypes of URBAN BIKE
“The functionality of 3T’s SLS prototypes far exceeded my expectations, as I never envisaged that I would
actually be able to assemble the bicycle and ride it! Prototyped at the intended wall thickness of the
production part, it gave me a realistic representation of my design, without any modifications having to be
made” says Paul Wolfson, Industrial Design and Technology, Loughborough University.

ALUMIDE prototypes give METALLIC finish
We can now supply our functional prototypes in Alumide™ - the material of choice for applications
requiring a metallic finish with resistance to high temperatures. Nylon, Glass-Filled Nylon and
Polystyrene already offer our customers high levels of functionality, but this additional choice opens up
options for prototypes to be used in even more applications.

| SMART idea proves FUNCTIONALITY of SLS prototypes
Many of the projects we work on are subject to our clients' confidentiality restrictions. So, to demonstrate
the functionality and capability of our prototypes in true working environments, we purchased a Smart
Car and re-designed, replicated and re-built components on it. We then safely drove it for over 2,500
miles in a variety of everyday road and motorway conditions!
