SMART Car: Bonnet re-designed by Taeno

Taeno Product Development has re-designed the body panels and front bonnet for the Smart car and we have produced them as laser sintered parts, fitted them to the car and driven it in real conditions! Read the full story and see photographs here.

We have added SolidWorks to our suite of CAD software, enabling our CAD Engineers to manipulate and translate data more effectively and efficiently, correct any errors that could reduce the quality of the part, repair the data where necessary and change components easily from within the assembly to ensure optimal build quality and function. Jon Porter has joined us as our Operations Manager. Jon spent 6 years with Dyson Ltd, setting up their Prototyping and Tooling divisions, and then 2½ years with CA Models as their Business Development Manager, before joining us in February 2004. Read the full story here.
