New Production Manager further extends Quality at 3T
3T RPD Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Eggington as Production Manager for their Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) facility. Rachel is a Cambridge graduate in Manufacturing Engineering and brings almost a decade of Production Management experience with her; holding her in good stead to take the company forward to the next stage of their DMLS production capability.
DMLS technology has continued to move forward in terms of overall viability for production work over the last few years. Already running one of the UK's largest DMLS facilities, 3T is at the forefront of the field and aims to be the DMLS production supplier of choice in Europe during the coming decade.
3T is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, customer service and reliability. In recognition of this, they have already attained ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 Medical Devices certification and Rachel will be ensuring that these standards are carried forward into DMLS production. She will also be taking on the challenge of achieving EN9100/AS9100 certification over the coming year to ensure 3T can supply Aerospace and Medical companies with the highest standard of production components.
