New CEO for 3T
3T are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Ian Halliday as their CEO. Ian has extensive experience in the Rapid Prototyping and Tooling field, including the set-up and management of a number of highly-rated RP&T facilities both in the UK and Europe. In addition to his technical and managerial capabilities, Ian has an in-depth understanding of the business and strategic implications of e-Manufacturing. His knowledge and experience will therefore enable 3T and their customers to maximise the benefits from both Rapid Prototyping and e-Manufacturing.
3T operates the largest laser sintering capability in the UK and the company has established itself as one of the top three laser sintering service bureaus worldwide. As the drive towards e-Manufacturing accelerates, laser sintering is considered the key technology for fast, flexible and cost-effective production of end-use parts directly from electronic data.
By successfully providing laser sintering services to a wide customer base, from blue chip multi-nationals to independent inventors, 3T has developed a reputation for outstanding expertise, quality and service. Driven by their highly skilled team, 3T will lead the paradigm shift from Rapid Prototyping to e-Manufacturing in the UK.
