Institute Gives Sales
& Marketing Recognition
3T
RPD Ltd's Business Development Manager, Paul Edwards, has been
given Member status of The Institute of Sales
& Marketing Management (ISMM), the UK's foremost professional
body for salespeople.
Founded in 1966 to promote standards of excellence in sales and sales
management, and to enhance the status and profile of sales as a profession,
the ISMM has been the authoritative voice of selling and the custodian
of sales standards, ethics and best practice for over 35 years.
As the industry develops, what was considered ground-breaking yesterday
quickly becomes the norm, and new techniques step in offering further
enhancements. In the fast moving, innovative environment that is Rapid
Product Development, 3T's philosophy is that people are the key to the
successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
Having developed a highly skilled and professional team who are experts
in their individual disciplines, 3T believe in providing a superior level
of customer service in all areas of their business. In today's dynamic
and increasingly competitive environment, they are committed to upholding
the standards of professionalism and integrity that are the hallmarks
of their sales success.
Paul joined 3T in October 2001, having returned to the industry after
an absence of nearly 2 years. He explains, "In 1999 the industry was moving
away from relationship selling and becoming a commodity market place.
Two years on and Tim has carved out another chunk of the market, concentrating
on raising the functional capabilities of prototypes. These 2 years have
seen one man with a vision and a couple of empty industrial units grow
into the operation we see as 3T today. The company policy to provide and
develop solutions through a consultative approach was ideally suited to
me and I had no hesitation in making an exciting return to the industry
by joining 3T."
Tim Plunkett, CEO of 3T adds, "The
success of the company stems from a combination of both the technologies
being developed and the skill of the people we have carefully selected.
This approach is crucial to a company whose prime objective is to pursue
higher levels of functionality in its prototyping, whilst squeezing vital
days out of product development schedules."
