Quality Engineer:

Quality Engineer
Job:

Through rigorous application of our quality processes you will ensure our customers receive parts that have been manufactured to an excellent standard. Your role includes, but is not limited to,

 
  • Chairing Contract Reviews for new order
  • Carrying out FMEAs and other risk reviews
  • Inspecting parts, including FAIRs and 3D Optical Scanning
  • Administrating sub-contract manufacturing
  • Dispatching parts, including final authorisation for release
  • Stock control, including purchase ordering, goods-in checks, stores management
  • In-house calibration of inspection equipment
  • In-house materials testing
  • NCR and CAPA support, including management of quarantine and scrap items
  • Creating, auditing and improving Quality Procedures and Local Work Instructions
  • Monitoring and reporting KPIs
Core Skills:

You will have:

  • Substantial experience working within an AS9100 / ISO13485 quality role
  • Strong manufacturing background within the automotive, medical or aerospace industry
  • Highly developed problem solving skills – 8D, 5Y, Route Cause Analysis, CAPA etc
  • Proven ability to chair meetings effectively
  • Good PC skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills

It would be useful for you to have:

  • Internal auditor training for ISO9001 / ISO13485 / AS9100
  • Six Sigma training and experience
Candidate:

You will have a strong 'can do' attitude and work ethic, and high attention to detail combined with ability to understand the wider picture. An organised and tidy approach to work.

 

Metals Workshop Team Leader:

Metals Workshop Team Leader
Job:

Highly skilled machinist required to lead and develop our workshop team by example. Varied work. Our goal is excellence

Candidate:

Self-motivated team leader who will constantly improve standards and capability of department
Experienced in on-line and off-line CNC milling programming experience using Heidenhein controls
Ability to fully machine components to technical drawings supplied
Skilled in operating manual milling machine and lathe
Capable of providing a high standard of final hand finishing
Proficiency in operating an Agie wire machine (training can be provided)
CNC machining background with a full apprenticeship would be ideal
Experience in planning and leading others highly beneficial

  

3T RPD Ltd is based near Newbury on the Berkshire/Hampshire border.

Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with some additional evening and weekend work required to meet deadlines.

Salary is negotiable based on experience. A three month trail period will be required prior to a permanent contract.
