3T Frameworks Process Chain

The process to obtain your 3T Frameworks is extremely quick and easy:-

Submitting Data using 3M ESPE Lava System

3T Frameworks are designed in the Lava Scan ST design system by selecting the other materials option at the start of scanning.

On completion of the design, files are automatically uploaded to 3T RPD via 3M Lava connect Portal.

3T RPD will automatically generate an identification tag that is attached to your component and linked to your order number that remains with the component when it is returned to you.

Submitting Data using an Open System

On completing the crown and bridge design, submit the STL file produced by the design software to dental@3trpd.co.uk along with company contact details and an order number, or use our standard order template.

Manufacturing Process Chain

• The machine is started in the afternoon and the 3T Frameworks built. Due to the manufacturing process, any 3T Framework data received after 12noon will be processed the following day.

• When building is complete, the 3T Frameworks are heat treated and removed from the platform.

• A calibration part is built with each batch of 3T Frameworks and inspected.

• Supports are removed and external areas polished.

• All surfaces are blasted with 180 micron mesh aluminium oxide.

• The finished 3T Frameworks are cleaned, packed and despatched directly to your lab, ready for you to use - porcelain-ready parts with minimal preparation.

• Each 3T Framework will have an identification tag attached with the unique order number - these can be removed with wire cutters and contact points removed with a rotary grinder.
