Sam Chamoun, a member of the team, asked us to produce an SLS model as a proposal for his project at the Architectural Association (AADRL masters program) in January 2006.
Recent applications in algorithms and programming in architecture to create new dynamic forms shows promise for the computer as an active creative partner.
Generating new forms guide the imagination towards forms that reflect rather than contradict real design constraints. Digital design tools are therefore used not only to generate new organic forms but also direct towards efficient forms that can be built effectively.
